Take the A470 to Dolgellau then take the first turning into the town on the left beforethe by-pass, continuing along this road (Pont yr Arran) until you cross the hump-backed bridge and enter the one-way system. Follow the road (Porth Canol) into the town square but take the first turn left at the greengrocers into Meyrick Street. Continue to the staggered cross-roads at the endof the street and go straight across and up the narrow street ahead.Follow this road up to the top (Mount PleasantBryn Teg) where it veers to the right and back downhill. Continue down to the crossroads. Ffynnon is the imposing stone building with large wrought-iron gates on the left at the crossroads
